This check-in is for Tuesday, July 6th, 2021 starting at 4:30 AM CST.
It’s my 3rd personal check-in on my blog here at DudeCapz.com, and if this is your first visit to my website and hat shop, welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I am always grateful for every visit.
I have been checking in here on my blog since Sunday, July 4th, 2021, and since that day, my check in posts here serve as my social media because I do not post my content on social media networks other than Twitter. My Twitter posts are generally updates only about this website, and my beanie store. If you would like more information about why I stopped posting on social networks, see CHECKING IN 002.
4:38 AM CST – All is quiet at home. I’m laying in bed thinking about all of the website updates I need to do when I wake up later this afternoon. I must get motivated to get as much work done as possible. I have a lot to do. I’m gonna check out YouTube for awhile.
5:29 AM CST – Nothing great on YouTube. Time to get some sleep.
5:20 PM CST – Almost 12 hours from my last activity noted above. I’m in my home studio this evening getting started on website updates. It’s been raining (not heavy right now – I just saw water dripping off the tin roof when I looked outside the window in my home studio – because I noticed it looked dark outside for this early in the evening), and I didn’t even know it. Also I did not know that there is a tropical storm (Elsa – predicted to become a hurricane prior to Florida landfall) happening along the Florida Keys currently. The rain we’re getting here in Alabama could be coming from that storm, but that’s hard to say because there is rain in many locations across the United States today, and the weather map from Accuweather doesn’t really prove that our rain is from that storm… but you never know I guess. Anyway, I need to find something to eat and get to work on my website updates.
6:03 PM CST – It is raining heavy currently. No strong winds though. I just popped some soup in the microwave for dinner.
8:39 PM CST – Tonight I’ve started working on something I recently mentioned that I’ve been wanting to add to the website – a directory of yarn and craft supply sources where these supplies can be purchased. I’m focusing on yarn (both main retail and independent yarn dyers), but considering any form of craft supplies.
10:53 PM CST – It is raining heavy again. I wasn’t even paying attention that it had stopped raining awhile ago.
