ABOUT THE STORE

This page is provided for your access to clear and transparent information about DudeCapz Beanie Store, including who operates this shop and makes the products, where they are made, where you can buy them, and where these beanies can be shipped to.

WHAT IS DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE?

DudeCapz Beanie Store is your place to find crocheted handmade beanies that are specifically designed for men and women. These beanies are made by David Thrift, a lifelong crochet and knit artist residing in Southeast Alabama. While these beanies are intended for adults, they are created as one size fits all so they work for kids and teens as well.

WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE?

If you’re new to DudeCapz Beanie Store and are wondering what makes these beanies so special, here is why:

DudeCapz are not mass produced. Each one is a handmade work of art designed for both style, and functionality.

Each beanie is a one of kind unique design. This includes solid color beanies, and ombre colorway beanies, however special pattern striped beanies are absolute one time only productions.

What this means is that while solid color beanies may occasionally be reproduced, I have no plans to make reproductions of striped pattern beanies. My striped pattern beanies are a form of art. Since no two of them are alike, I prefer keeping the artistic aspect of my work flowing uninterrupted by moving on to create something new with each session of work from one beanie to the next. After all, being an artist requires producing new and fresh work consistently.

This allows me to stay motivated in my creative works, and is the foundation of my work principle to provide a beanie store full of original designs. If you see a beanie in my store that you like. I recommend buying it quickly because once gone, they are gone. That’s not just a sales pitch. At DudeCapz Beanie Store, the old saying holds true – “you snooze, you lose”.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY?

I do not accept returns, nor do I issue refunds. The reasons are because each item is unique, I spent a lot of time on them, and I cannot accept back an item, nor issue a refund due to that these are wearable items made as one size fits all. Each item is supplied with sufficient descriptions and photos when listed so that you know exactly what you are getting, and you will always get the exact item described and photographed. Please be sure that you want an item before purchasing, and if you have any questions before purchasing, please do not hesitate to contact me for help and information.

WHERE ARE DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE BEANIES MADE?

I stitch my beanies mostly at my smoke-free, and pet-free home which is in a small town near Auburn, Alabama, home of the Auburn Tigers college football team – War Eagle! Besides that, I often work on my beanies wherever I can haul my yarn bag to. It could be somewhere around West Point Lake if the weather isn’t too warm (on either side – Alabama or Georgia), the Municipal Park in Opelika, Alabama and I sometimes knock out some stitches at a sawmill where I work as a night shift fire guard. No worries though… any beanie you buy from my shop will be free of sawdust.

WHERE CAN DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE BEANIES BE SHIPPED TO?

I ship my beanies only within the 48 continental states within the United States Of America. Purchases should only be made if you live in these 48 states. Why? It’s because in prior experience, shipping to foreign countries, and even Alaska or Hawaii has proven costly and problematic with customs and package loss.

OTHER TOPICS

This section addresses other topics not directly related to store operations outside of DudeCapz.com and DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE at Storenvy.

DO YOU DONATE HATS AND BEANIES TO CHARITY?

No. I think it’s a great thing to do when someone who has the talent and the time to crochet or knit beautiful hats to donate them to charities. For me however, any time I spend with my knitting or crocheting work is done strictly for sale in my DUDECAPZ BEANIE STORE. If I weren’t running my store, I probably wouldn’t be spending much time with these crafts. I prefer to make donations to charities in monetary form. Please visit CHARITY to find out what my current favorite charity is to donate to.
