It’s my 8th personal check-in on my blog here at DudeCapz.com, and if this is your first visit to my website and hat shop, welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I am always grateful for every visit.

I have been checking in here on my blog since Sunday, July 4th, 2021, and since that day, my check in posts here serve as my social media because I do not post my content on social media networks other than Twitter. My Twitter posts are generally updates only about this website, and my beanie store. If you would like more information about why I stopped posting on social networks, see CHECKING IN 002.

HERE IS WHAT’S HAPPENING THROUGHOUT MY DAY TODAY

12:57 PM – Good morning! I’m at work finishing out my shift for tonight. I’ve been here since 4:00 PM CST yesterday. I’ve had a good shift so far. I’m chillin’ out in the crane, and I’m about to start my 2nd crochet session for the night.

4:45 PM CST – I caught a break from the rain. I made it up to the cab of the crane. There’s some breaks in the clouds.

5:39 PM CST – I have been able to take some photos from the crane today. You can view them below and also more in my VIEWS FROM THE CRANE photo series.

9:53 PM CST – This night is dragging on, but it’s been a quiet, and a good night so far. I’ve had dinner (a frozen tv dinner), and I’ve been blogging and doom scrolling on my phone a lot. Earlier tonight I said I was going to get some crochet work done, but so far I haven’t hooked the first stitch yet. I will get there at some point. I think I’m feeling a little zoned out, and not really motivated for crocheting. Or maybe I’m just enjoying the doom scrolling and blogging enough for my entertainment tonight at work.

10:18 PM CST – I need to have a good tweetstorm session on Twitter. I haven’t done that in awhile.
