I have been checking in here on my blog since Sunday, July 4th, 2021, and since that day, my check in posts here serve as my social media because I do not post my content on social media networks other than Twitter. HERE IS WHAT’S HAPPENING THROUGHOUT MY DAY TODAY ALONG NEW WEBSITE + STORE UPDATES

12:31 AM CST – Same old story kind of tonight starting off this new day. If you’ve been following my blog, then you know I’m at work. It’s been another great shift so far. I have gotten some crochet work done. In fact I finished a beanie, and about half of another finished tonight. I’ve made a few updates on the website so be sure to check the UPDATES page. – https://dudecapz.com/updates/

8:44 AM CST – Busy morning today. After my first update this morning I spent all of the rest of my work shift working on a new blog post. When I left work I had to go fill up my truck with gas, and while I was out, I got some breakfast at Burger King, and then I drove to West Point Lake. It was a very spur-of-the-moment unplanned trip. I wanted to go take some new outdoor photos because I had not been out to the lake in quite a while. The weather was kind of dreary this morning, so while I did take some pictures, they’re not all that great. But that’s not the point. The point is that I did go and I had a great time. I did not stay long because I had to get back home so that I could get in bed. Tonight is my last night to work this weekend so I cannot be late. I will be starting a new photo series with the pictures that I took out at the lake today, so look for those coming up on the blog very soon. I will of course update this website to let you know when those photos have been posted. I’m signing out for now.

6:17 PM CST – I am back at my day (night) job. It is raining again. I got to work before 4 PM CST. I am proud of myself for it too. It means I’m showing discipline to keep myself in some order of responsibility for myself lately. I don’t really have a specific time that I have to be at work. Technically I’m expected to be at work by 6 PM, but there has never been an issue if I arrived later. There’s also never been an issue if I came in early. Basically I make my own schedule, and normally I just get there when I get there. But I’m only working 3 days each week currently vs working 7 days a week for many months in a row like I was doing. So time is crucial so that I can maximize my hours in such short time span. I feel like I’ve explained this before recently, and I probably have. So anyway, while it’s raining, I’m going to work on a new blog post. It will focus on link harvesting “crochet in the news” articles.

10:06 PM CST – In the last few hours I’ve gotten some new content posted to the blog. It finally stopped raining. I’m going to settle down for awhile and get some crocheting done.

11:23 PM CST – I’ve just finished the body portion of one of my new beanies. A photo will be posted soon.
