Up next in this series for music albums I recommend, I have the 1989 album by Company B, titled Gotta Dance. As is a habit of mine, whenever I listen to an artist on Spotify, I usually will listen to their whole discography before moving on to another artist. So with that said, you can expect to see a lot of albums in sequence of each other from the same artists, and it was the first album from this girl group that I recommended in the first post of this series.
I had a love and hate relationship with this album. It wasn’t horrible, but it didn’t make me jump for joy either. This girl group did a great rendition of the song Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. It’s probably my favorite track on the whole album, but it seems kind of “odd ball” to all the other tracks. I think they did that song because the lyrics contain the name of their group in it. There’s a few other tracks that are ok. The first few tracks had me wondering if I wanted to listen to the whole thing or not. One thing to remember though is that it was 1989 when they recorded this album, and a lot of music was either really good, or it was not that good. This album is a mix of both.
