It’s my 6th personal check-in on my blog here at DudeCapz.com, and if this is your first visit to my website and hat shop, welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I am always grateful for every visit.

I have been checking in here on my blog since Sunday, July 4th, 2021, and since that day, my check in posts here serve as my social media because I do not post my content on social media networks other than Twitter. My Twitter posts are generally updates only about this website, and my beanie store. If you would like more information about why I stopped posting on social networks, see CHECKING IN 002.

1:33 AM CST – Time is running out for me this morning. My four days off is almost over. Once I hit the bed and wake up later this afternoon, it’s three days straight of day (night) job. I’m ready for it. Tonight I’ve added a new beanie to my DudeCapz Beanie Store. Go check out all the beanies that are available. I have also been saving some of the art images from random-art.org that I’ve been mentioning. I will keep doing that so that hopefully I can get the full collection, plus all of the new ones that get created. For the next few hours, I’m going to work on adding some new photography of mine that I recently took. I mentioned a few days ago that I went to the Courtyard Square in front of the Lee County, Alabama courthouse and took some photos. This morning I’m going to try and get them posted to my blog, or at least get them edited so that I can do that later. All is quiet right now, but I’m probably going to find something to watch on YouTube while I’m getting my photo editing done.

4:00 AM CST – Ok I have the photos edited that I mentioned earlier tonight. Now I have to go back through them and rename the files because I didn’t properly name them for blog uploading. Duh, how I could I forget that? Oh well, at this point in the morning I wasn’t about to upload them to the blog anyway.

4:56 AM CST – I’ve just discovered the Knitting Board website. They make a ton of different knitting looms for different sizes of projects from socks to hats and more. I’m sure if you’ve been following me for awhile, or know by the main content of this website that I am interested in hat looms… most specifically those for small gauge knitting (I already have a great one for double yarn that I love). So I don’t have time to really browse this website right now because I have got to go to bed so that I can get up on time to get to work tonight. Timing is crucial that I get there on time since I’m working less than 40 hours a week currently. – https://www.knittingboard.com/

5:21 AM CST – I’ve forgotten to mention that I haven’t done any crocheting over the past four days that I’ve been off. That’s ok though. I have plenty of time while at work to catch up on completing some new beanies if I can just motivate myself to do it.

4:48 PM CST – I made it work today exactly on time at 4:00 PM CST… or well at least it was the time I wanted to get there. Technically I really don’t have a specific time to be at work as long as I’m not there past 6:00 PM CST… I guess since I said that, then I just told a lie because that means I do have to be here by 6:00 PM CST. Since I’m only working three days a week currently, I’m trying to get to work as early as possible to maximize my hours. Either way it goes, I’m still going to make less than 40 hours this weekend. Well, I’m gonna go chill out in the crane for awhile and turn the air conditioner on. It’s 88° outside right now.

6:12 PM CST – I just sat through a small storm while sitting up in the crane. I’m glad it rained. It helped to cool the air down. I’ve posted a photo of my completed Oasis Beat colorway crochet slouchy beanie for a man (or whoever would like to wear it). It will be posted for sale soon (sooner if someone requests it). Also tonight I am getting some new work done on this Denim Stonewash colorway crochet slouchy beanie for a man. I will be posting progress photos there until it is finished.

11:00 PM CST – 1 hour until midnight, and a new day starts… but my job doesn’t stop until around 6 AM CST, unless I decide to leave at 5 AM CST. I’m going to try and stay until 6 AM CST though. I’m on my 2nd crochet session for tonight (just starting).

11:35 PM CST. I ran across this photo tonight to share. The caption included reads, “A rather stunning inter-war autochrome for you – the iridescent sunlight giving it such a dreamlike quality.
