It’s my 11th personal check-in on my blog here at DudeCapz.com, and if this is your first visit to my website and hat shop, welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I am always grateful for every visit.

I have been checking in here on my blog since Sunday, July 4th, 2021, and since that day, my check in posts here serve as my social media because I do not post my content on social media networks other than Twitter. My Twitter posts are generally updates only about this website, and my beanie store. If you would like more information about why I stopped posting on social networks, see CHECKING IN 002.

HERE IS WHAT’S HAPPENING THROUGHOUT MY DAY TODAY

1:20 AM CST – Ugh! Am I hot, or am I cold tonight? That is the question. Someone make up my mind for me. So ok the last time I wrote something was yesterday after 6 PM, and that was just talking about I slept all day… yeah boring… but there was other stuff written earlier in the day. You can check the post out for yourself. Since I regained consciousness yesterday, I’ve basically been sitting in front of my computer, doing some website work, and fighting with tubitv.com while trying to watch a lame movie. I’m not even going to mention the movie because it was so lame. Ok I will tell you so that you don’t waste your time with it. The movie is title First Signal. It’s about the discovery that earthlings are not alone. Nearly the whole first half of the movie was filmed in a meeting room. The dialog was slow. The acting was slow. The script was not too bad, but given the acting, and the slow pace overall… well… meh. There was some cgi as well that did a good enough job to tell the story. Overall the story wasn’t bad, but it was definitely a low budget movie. It might not have been so bad if my laptop had not frozen up several times while trying to watch it.

Keep in mind that movies are usually only available on Tubi for a limited time, so it may not be available at a later date after this post has aged over time. I’m going to try and watch another movie, and hope that my laptop doesn’t freeze up again.

3:27 AM CST – Last night I was on ebay shopping for some new pinback buttons for my collection (a collection I haven’t added to for quite some time). I didn’t buy anything (yet). I just wanted to share this store that has a lot of pinkbacks. You may be interested to check it out. The store is called COSDESIGNS. Check it out if you’re a collector of pinbacks, or know someone who is. You may find a great gift, or you may start a collection of your own.

4:19 AM CST – Just finished watching this movie on Tubi: Independence Wars: Insurgence (2017) – Description: Beyond the dark side of the moon, an ancient portal opens, delivering a ruthless alien species which brings the planet Earth to its knees. – Director: Marlene Mc’Cohen – Starring: Brian Lilly, Robert Woods, Toby Maka, Genna Mc’Cohen, Kinga Rosen, Kyle Lalley, and Ginny You.

This movie was definitely better than the first one I watched earlier tonight. I give it 4 out of 5 stars for originality and a great story. It has some good actors and actresses as well.

5:56 AM CST – I just finished watching Vampire Boys (2011) – Description: Vampire Jasin is in search of a special mortal to turn and spend eternity with but, when he meets Caleb, he bucks tradition to choose his own “one”. – Directed by: Charlie Vaughn – Starring Jason Lockhart, Christian Ferrer, Dylan Vox, Ryan Adames, Jess Allen, Tanner Acord, Zasu, Greg McKeon, Walter Delmar, and Marlene Mc’Cohen.

I liked this movie. Don’t watch it if full male nude frontal scenes in movies offend you. It is a Horror, LGBT, and Romance genre movie. Cheesy movies are growing on me this morning. There is a Vampire Boys 2 movie also on Tubi. I’m not going to watch it this morning though because it is time for me to go to bed. If I don’t, I will completely screw up my sleep pattern, and I can’t do that because the weekend is coming up fast. I have to be focused and rested so that I can get to work on time. I will watch Vampire Boys 2 later this afternoon. I have some new beanie photos edited this morning, and I will be adding the new item to my store this afternoon or evening also. By the way, I checked Amazon to see if this movie might be available on dvd, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it is. If you are interested, you can purchase the dvd here. 6:42 PM CST – I am up out of bed and moving around now. I’ve actually been awake since around 4 PM CST, but I laid in bed editing some new website pages on my smartphone… I know, how lazy right!? LOL… Like I couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed and go sit down in my home studio in front of my laptop where the tasks would have been much easier, and faster (It’s kind of difficult – at least for me – to edit pages on your phone while your laying down).

I am on the #FreeBritney train and some good news came out today. I saw in the news that Britney Spears has been granted the right to choose her own lawyer in her conservator case. I think her dad should be ashamed of himself for dragging this out so long. I also think he should serve some prison time for abusing his daughter under conservatorship since 2008 or however long it’s been since that was done to her. I’ve never believed that Britney is crazy like they have made her out to be just so that they could keep their hands on her money. By they, I mean her family, and everyone involved since they are all lining their pockets with Britney’s money. She’s in the music industry and I probably would have shaved my head too, if I had people with their hands in my hair 18 hours out of every day. A breakdown does mean a person is “crazy”. It just means they’ve had enough of something going on in their life, and those years ago when all this started, I think she really just needed a break from her work. She did not need somebody appointed over her. That’s just my opinion, and I hope that this year will be the year that she gets control over her life back.

7:38 PM CST – I’ve just uploaded a new national radar weather map screenshot from Accuweather to my UNITED STATES NATIONAL WEATHER RADAR MAPS 001. It shows what the rain conditions are as of 7:20 PM CST this evening. While on Accuweather’s website, I noticed they have a Current Conditions map as well which shows the temperature ranges across the United States. Now I am fascinated with that map because there are occasions when I check the temperatures via Bixby on my SGN20U. It’s an interactive map. When you click on anywhere that displays a temperature reading, a small box will pop up and give you more information, plus a link is provided so that you can get even more details about the area you are looking at. I’m sure other more dedicated weather enthusiasts already know that.

8:25 PM CST – I’m considering a new look for DudeCapz Beanie Store. I think it’s getting time to update store headers, and the home page with images that better represent what products are being sold here. No doubt I like the current banners with the hawks. I think the way the photographer captured them in action, and the way their wingspans look almost symmetrical as they’re facing each other is really cool. But the images are starting to get old I think… or maybe I should leave the banners alone so that they gain recognition, and just update the photos on the home page. Just putting it out there, that there may be some future changes to these areas.

8:32 PM CST – I was debating with myself whether or not to go out and find something to eat tonight or just stay home and have a frozen dinner. The option to stay home is pretty much what I’ve decided to go with. I have to go shopping tomorrow anyway. So tonight I’m eating at home, and I’m planning to watch some more movies while I’m getting some new website work done.
